Tour and Vertical Wine Tasting - Santa Luzia Collection - Quinta das Malvas, Funchal, Madeira Island

Discover Madeira Island's winemaking tradition with a guided walk through the vineyard terraces of the charming old Quinta de Santa Luzia, owned by the historic Blandy family. Along the way, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the estate, the Madeira wine varieties and the unique characteristics of island viticulture.

The experience culminates with a vertical tasting of the Santa Luzia collection, held on the terrace of the elegant Quinta das Malvas. In this exclusive tasting, you'll be able to experience the ageing process of two of Blandy's iconic grape varieties, with six different wines:

• Verdelho: 5 years, 10 years and Colheita (Single Harvest)

• Bual: 5 years, 10 years and 15 years

The pairing has been carefully selected to enhance the flavours and aromas of the wines, including: dried fruit, aged cheese from the Azores (São Miguel), typical Madeira biscuits, traditional honey cake and chocolate-covered candied orange peels.
