Os vinhos naturais da Quinta da Raza simbolizam a nossa vontade de honrar os antepassados, voltando a uma forma ancestral de produzir vinho. Também o nosso compromisso com uma visão holística da agricultura e com a sustentabilidade ambiental está bem espelhado nos rótulos destes vinhos naturais, onde prestamos homenagem aos insetos – joaninha, risopa e carabidae – preciosos auxiliares biológicos no controlo orgânico de pragas e mostramos a data de construção dos nossos centenários lagares de granito utilizados para a pisa a pé das uvas tintas. São assim vinhos que evidenciam uma abordagem de intervenção mínima, deixando a natureza e as leveduras selvagens ditarem a fermentação que termina na garrafa, sem adição de sulfitos e sem filtragem. Duração: 1h30m – 2h. The natural wines of Quinta da Raza symbolize our desire to honor our ancestors by returning to an ancestral way of producing wine. Our commitment to a holistic view of agriculture and environmental sustainability is also well reflected on the labels of these natural wines, where we pay tribute to insects – ladybugs, longhorn beetles, and carabids – precious biological helpers in organic pest control and show the date of construction of our centuries-old granite wine presses used for foot treading of red grapes.
These are wines that demonstrate a minimal intervention approach, allowing nature and wild yeasts to dictate the fermentation, which finishes in the bottle without the addition of sulfites and without filtration.
